Straight answers for buying tickets, hosting events, and managing your account.
Buying tickets, refunds, getting in.
Pick an event, choose your tickets and any add-ons, and checkout with a card via Stripe. Your tickets, with QR codes, are emailed instantly. No account required for ticket purchases.
Refunds depend on the host's policy, shown on the event page before you buy. Policies are one of: None, 24-hour, 48-hour, 7-day, or Flexible. If a host cancels the event, every attendee is refunded in full automatically, including sales tax, with no action required.
Source: Host Agreement: RefundsUse the ticket recovery link on the homepage. Enter the email you used at checkout and we'll send a one-time code that brings up your tickets, no account needed.
Source: Ticket recoveryTicket transfers aren't supported today. The person at the door is expected to be the buyer; for special cases, contact the event host directly.
You'll get an email and a full refund automatically: ticket price plus any sales tax we collected. Add-on charges are refunded the same way.

Creating events, payouts, fees, check-in.
Sign in, open the host dashboard, click Create Event, and walk through the wizard: details, tickets, refund policy, payouts. The event lands in PENDING review and goes live once approved.
Source: Host dashboardA 10% platform fee on tickets and a 5% + $0.50-per-order fee on add-ons. Card-processing is on us. Occasio absorbs the Stripe fee on every successful sale, so you're never charged it on a sale. Your settlement statement itemizes every line.
Source: Host Agreement: FeesStandard payout timing is three business days after the event ends (T+3), via Stripe Connect to the bank account you connected during onboarding. Subject to Stripe's availability rules; payouts are held while a dispute or unpaid balance is open.
Source: Host Agreement: PayoutsOccasio acts as a marketplace facilitator: we calculate, collect, and remit sales tax to the relevant state on your behalf for transactions on the platform. You set the base price; tax is added on top at checkout and never touches your payout.
Source: Host Agreement: Sales TaxOpen the Scanner in your host dashboard, point your phone's camera at the attendee's QR, and the system marks it scanned. Each ticket scans once. Your team can scan too: assign the SCANNER role on the Team page.
If the request is within the refund window you set on the event, process it from the order in your dashboard. Outside the window, refunds are at your discretion. Tax is reversed automatically with the refund.
Login, profile, deleting your account.
Try the password reset link on the login page. If you signed up with a magic link or OTP, request a new one. The previous one expires after a short window.
